Well at least the markets are reacting well to the porkulus bill. Oops down 250 points and still dropping. Looks like the markets did not like the pork filled spending bill renamed into stimulus. At least some field mouse will be saved amiright?

Obama pushed Congress to complete the bill last week because Congress isn't in session this week. Yes, they could have altered the legislative calender to change things but that screws up a lot of stuff already put into place in order to do what? Change nothing in the bill? The Republicans knew this as well as the Democrats did, and had they wanted, they could have delayed the Senate vote and pushed it into the weekend/recess. They chose not to.

The Post is well aware of all this information (or at least they should be), but they neglected to mention it in their article, doing a disservice to their readers.

Overreact much? And how is this a "vacation" when the bill was signed a day later than BHO had originally intended? First people complain about how fast the 1,073 page monstrosity bill (largest since WWII) was rushed to the floor and now people complain that it took *gasp* an extra day to sign. Remove the sand from your vagina.
