I'm thinking that the beamer got dragged by the trailer to a verticle position.

Maybe wouldn't do this on just tarmac, but it the trailer dragged it against a curb or something it could have rolled up, lifting the trailer.

bet that was a fun couple minutes for Mr. Beamer.

And BMW drivers are the worst, I hate them all after a run-in (not actually a collision) with one yesterday on the way home from work. If you own a BMW you are a terrible human being and a discourteous driver.

im thinking any other car would have bee annihilated the beemer doesnt look that bad. I mean aside from the obvious that its still wedged under the truck but it is sturdy enough to have the truck propped up in the air.

The enormous weight of the trailer keeps the car to the ground, so instead of it sliding the trailer just rolls the car over.

So the trucker was using the BMW as a jack so he can rotate his trailer's rear tires. Big deal.

That seems quite easy to do. Truck starts going sideways and the front of the SUV gets caught under the trailor. Truck starts going sideways pulling the SUV onto it's side. Supprised the front of the SUV didn't colapse. GJ BMW!

Ya, I didn't think about it being a BMW :p

Thats not a bad explanation.
I'm still fairly sure that the wheels would have either had to been in the air or the tires hit a curb or something equally solid.
I just don't think the car is round enough to roll without something like that happening.

The trailers got to be empty, because if it was a full load, that bmw would look about the same as a pop can that just went through a snowblower.

My bad. It would still be the same for a non-suv.

Can't say those BMW's aren't well built. I'll bet they were both going pretty slow to be able to pull that off.

The fact that a 3-Series can support the weight of a semi-trailer with out deforming is a testement to the high build quality of a BMW.
