please tell me how the original statement "Honda's have better panel fitment" is not countered by my argument with the Malibu hood... as soon as you do this, ill stfu, but panel fitment, is panel fitment, however, not a SINGLE panel on a honda must match on 3 sides of the sheetmetal. there is more area to give and adjust just a little bit than there is on the malibu... again... please do tell how my argument is not valid.

are you still crying about a hood and how its mounted on the car? i've NEVER closely examined the hood alignment of any car. my accord hood is perfect from all viewing angles on my car. i guess AMERICAN car fanboys must resort to desperate tactics to make the poor selling malibu look good when compared to the accord. keep trying tho, i dont think gm has made a family sedan that outsells the accord or camry yet.

when purchasing a new car, what % do you devote to "the alignment of the hood"? is it 10%? 20%? 50%? it sounds like ~50% of the entire car's quality/performance is in the hood panel.

People care about panel gap. Smaller panel gap helps a car look better and is a sign of quality. It's something that American car companies have lagged on in the past and the new generation of models coming out has really strove to be notch on how the sheet metal fits together.

A lot of folks would be of the opinion that the money isn't coming back anyway andit never was. It was gone when it was handed over to a poorly run company with few good products and giant liabilities.

Just like they were of the opinion that it would have been cheaper and easier to have declared a normal bankruptcy, which would have voided all contracts, before throwing all that money in the toilet.

Instead we threw the money in the toilet, and had some sort of strange bankruptcy anyway...which somehow benefitted the UAW...

Plus a government attempt to prop up that same company that it now has a stake in with a $3B tax money give away, that looks like it failed for GM anyway...

It was a clusterfuck the moment the admin decided to stick it's nose in, imo.

It makes my blood boil every time I think about it, and I am a long time Chevy man.

i'd like to add that i hate gm/chrysler because of the bullshit flag waving that people associate with them. it's absolutely disgusting and sad that people get that worked up and curse at people who drive "imports"

that said, i would consider a gm car if i was in the market these days, but it better be best in class like cts-v quality. they haven't made up for their past sins yet.

so you will now use whatever numbers some magazine gets as gospel? the CR-V then sucks as well as C&D have only ever seen 22mpg as the highest avg on their CR-V... which means that it sucks as well... go ahead and love the bucktooth crp.
