WTF.......8800GTS idles @ 71, loads @ 107 C???

Yikes...that's way too hot. If the fan isn't moving when your system is powered up, that card is probably going to fail soon. Time to RMA. Are you still under warranty?

um... thats an EXCELLENT temperature for a card to have with a BROKEN FAN... this means that, despite running really hot, the card can function on passive cooling... heck you don't even have passive cooling, you have broken active cooling (which was never designed to work without a fan)...

I once saw a CPU melt like a pizza 10 seconds after it's fan broke...

Yeah, EVGA is lifetime as long as you registered within 30 days of purchase (otherwise, it's a year). They'll most likely send you an 8800GTS (like for like exchange), but give them a call...you never know. 🙂

they sent me a 7950 512 when i rmaed my 7900gt 256 in july....

unfortunately my 7950 512 just died this week and now my 8800gts is overheating...
