Hmm... This is pretty strange...

My brother has a circular patch of rash in the middle of his left forearm. It looks like poison ivy or something and he's been itchin for 1.5-2 days but it hasn't spread anywhere. I put some cream on it and he's stopped itching for 2 days so far.

The diameter is like 3/4th of an inch... It's not that big at all.

Has anyone had experience with something like this before? I would just like to IDENTIFY what this is...

I've had poison ivy before... but it was NEVER a circular patch. It spread all over like a fvcking disease. Anyway, TY in advance.

Alhambra High? we had a breakout there.

OP, is it a patch or a circle? Could just be hives.

Depending on where you live you might want to look into Lyme disease if it doesn't go away. I know a rash around the bite is one of the first symptoms. Flu like stuff is also present. Not ment to be as an over reaction post, just something if you think the rash is out of the ordinary- my brother got it last summer.

Well I googled up some home remedies and it looks like we did the right thing -- which is put iodine on his 'ringworm' (for around 3 days) and many people have reported this to work.

I hope that someone in your household is fvcking more responsible than you. If sh!t like this developed on a 3 year old kid like that, to the peditrician they go. Who knows what exactly it is, and your lack of interest could have led to serious consequences.
