Mr. Manager "Alan" tells me he'll be giving me a call before midnight tonight to let me know what he finds. He's printed out all 32 pages of my bill, and said he'll go over it with a fine-toothed comb to see "what went wrong and when."

I'll update on Monday when I return from Vegas... :cool: Have a great weekend, everyone... you guys have been fabulous... :)
I think the fact that your bill is actually 32 pages long might clue him in somewhere... :p :D :Q

Fvck Sprint. They have been messing up my bill and payments for over a year. Good luck with getting the manager to call back. I had one promise to call me back within a hour, and he never did. I had to call back and spend more time on hold to get my problem handled.

It took Verizon 3 months to get my sister's bill straight. Same problem, they "forgot" about the N&W minutes

WTF? Who needs that many minutes?

Someone that doesn't have landline, and is always in contact with alot of people (family, friends, etc.) like myself :)

Oh yeah, 281 is nothing... try 410 dollars! :D

Sometimes they'll give you a better plan, sometimes they'll say seeya. It's a bit more standardized now than it used to be, but still no guarantee that if you threaten to cancel you'll be offered a special plan.

I cosigned for a friend's phone and he racked up about $3K in a few month's time by going over his peak minutes. :Q

Heh,

I have a cousin who's phone bill was around $1700 one month. He's got lots of relatives that live overseas. To him it wasn't a big deal though...you should see him in fancy restaurants...he's the type of guy that orders $800 worth of food in one sitting. *sigh* Wish I had his money :(

Sprint did the same type thing to me when I added a phone for my wife. What has been happening to you the past few months is that you can call and get the bill fixed, but they don['t actually fix the cause of the problem. What you need to do is for the sprint rep you talk to to not only fix the current bill, but also get into the system and have them fix your account as well. After I did that, nary a problem since (plus they gave me a month of free service for the inconvenience) :)

anyone who uses a cell phone is asking to be ripped off; be careful,and always keep track of it.
maybe learn by my mistake/misfortune.

I was a few years ago
Long story,short version, i "lent" a "friend" a cell phone,who agreed to pay the bill,they had no credit
they "lost" the phone,{and were "afraid" to tell me it was stolen/lost"}
and it must have been lost in NY City,which was out of the "local' area
all calls made were unreal costs.{roaming,etc.}

It cost me Over $1,500, and this was in only 4 months time,
so much for "friends" {i did not even get a kiss,thanks}

my work gave us nextel phones,so we can direct connect;

we were told we may use the direct connect,for 5,000 minutes per month,
there is 43,200 min. per month,so i hope nobody at work falls asleep "connected',LOL

They didn't need to explain... I had to find it for them. Basically... they made the mistake, but refused to fix it until I took the initiative, time, and effort to correct their fvck up.

I was supposed to have 3000 night and weekend minutes after 8pm... but they only gave me 750 and charged me $0.45/minute for every minute I went over 750.

anyway good luck

Sprint screwed up and charged me some ridiculous amount of money, and while I had an account, I didn't even own a phone. I was just keeping my account barely alive at $10 / month for a few months to avoid the $150 cancellation fee.

Well apparently something got screwed up and they charged me for God-knows-what at > $200. I called, bitched them out, and got that waived, and the $150 fee waived as well. Booyeah.

Yes! Sprint is now gone. My phone from a1wireless arrived to day. I got a Nokia 6610 with T-mobile and is worlds above any of the phones I have had with Sprint. Much faster interface, t-zones are faster than vision, clarity is much improved, larger service area, full service in my house, etc.

Great phone and so far the service is good.

My plan has 2000 minutes shared for my whole family (4 phones), unlimited Verizon to Verizon minutes, and unlimited Nights and Weekends.
