WTC videos

Hey guys,

I am not sure why, but I am interested in seeing some of the videos from 9/11. Mainly CBS /CNN/ ABC or other network broadcasts as it happened. I'd also like to see Bush's immediate response (when he was in Florida), followed by other speeches. Basically all the news coverage from that day. Are there such videos available anywhere? On or off line, it doesn't matter. I don't know why I want to see them. Don't take it the wrong way, but it is facinating how destructive humans can be to one another. Plus, I think since this event is the "where were you" part of our generation, it will be a part of us for the rest of our lives. I've already read a book or two about it. Just can't get over it, I suppose.

On that day, I got home from class, and immediately placed a video tape in the VCR and started recording, I flipped through all 60 channels on the recording and at least 30 channels were showing clips, speeches, and mourning messages.

I'll see if I can rip that onto my computer.

I had it on Tape when they showed it on TV but i erased it i didnt want to see it again.
In fact i never been to Ground Zero since the even happen just around the area.

Of course I have, can you not read posts? I am looking for the original footage, as-it-happened broadcasts, not so much all the edited stuff... just the pure raw footage from a news station as the day progressed.

i've been looking for this also, as well as a good archive of online images (news coverages or individually taken photos). i had a huge collection of data, but my harddrive crashed and i lost everything. it took a lot of effort...

it's not sick to ask for this, btw. it's a piece of history and it's important to never forget.

good luck finding that. Broadcast footage is just not typically available for public consumption. You might find vidcaps of news broadcasts, etc, but rarely pure "raw" unedited footage.

I know that a lot of broadcast stations allow you to buy their unedited raw videos. These are usually the 1 hour episodes of some show or whatever. Never saw a "9/11" day with all the tapes however...

i also caught a tape describing the conspiracy behind it... the flash in the plane... how the towers fell like a demolition project, the missing airplane at the pentagon... all that stuff. It had plenty of raw footage... sorry can't remember the name of it though.

you live in NYC, right? were you there when it happened? how did you feel?

My schoolmates and I got a first hand look at the disaster from across Brooklyn. Not as surreal are people depicted the incident 🙁
