WTB: wireless mouse for Powerpoint presentations?

I'm the seminar projectionist at a University. I've been thinking about getting a wireless mouse for use with the PC/videoprojector combination in our seminar room. I have a budget, but don't know what to buy. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I tested an ordinary Logitech wireless mouse, but the range was only 2-3 yards.
 
You sure you really meant to put this in Off Topic? Maybe someone in FS/T will have something to offer you.

Also, AFAIK, most wireless mice don't have the best range. At least make sure whatever you get is RF and not infared.
