Downloading Them Now
Depends on your definition of recently, I guess. A lot of people in this thread say the issue has been going on for quite a while.A flaw their cards have supposedly had in which NOBODY even noticed or cared until just recently, you mean?
Maybe AMD wants to take the time to make sure they don't release a driver that kills video cards, like what that other GPU manufacturer did.
On a professional level, you would never give your customer a delivery date and on that date (not before) say "just give me one more day." You would be out of business in no time.
Since I haven't had any AMD hardware in a few years, I am curious as to your take on this. Do you think it will appease the FCAT scores alone, or do you think it will actually make the issue less noticeable?
When did AMD give you a delivery date for the driver release?
I don't think AMD can control what news sites report or misreport.
Also, Blizzard proves your statement false.
In my short time with AMD this guy has quickly become my best friend.

This is why I don't buy AMD cards. Just now coming out with a supposed fix for a flaw their cards have had for a long time (years, is it now?), and they still can't get it out on the time table they set. I had really hoped that AMD didn't buy ATI just to drag them down, but it is looking that way from where I sit.
Best fail excuse ever! You don't need 7970 cfx to have the performance of you NVIDIA 660... This driver is targeted at people with 2 high-end GPUs. Not a single streamline card
Lol. The drivers don't even let me enable crossfire. I select it and select apply, and it does nothing.

Congratulations. You missed my point. Completely.
Nice little performance bump over 13.6Beta 2

Looking @FPS in those tests, the performance is the same or marginally lower
