WTB: Blue LEDs

radio shack has some 5V blue LEDs, very bright , but only select stores carry them and usually in limited quantity
 
Try the *online* Radio Shack too. I bought a couple from them. Last I checked they had super bright ones and ones with diffused lens.
 
can sombody tell me what kind of LED should i get for my kt7-raid...i want blue ones but dunno what voltage and current fits...thanks much
 
MillionaireNextDoor: Radio Shack carries blue LED's but like Supradude noted, they aren't at all stores. (I hit 6 different locations in the San Fernando Valley before I found them.) Radio Shack part number 276-311.

Zaku: I have the blue LED's in an Enlight 7327 case. My mobo is a KT7 Non-RAID. LED specs: 5mm, 5 volt, 30mA, 300mcd.
 
blue LEDs are just used to offer a different color... =) they look nice ;-)

they just cost a lot more than your basic green or red LEDs =)

i plan on blue'ing myself soon =)
 
Chatterjee: It all depends on the case. I have an Enlight 7237 and changing the LED's could not have been easier.
 
You want kick ass blue leds i suggest the radio shack 276-316 (for lighting things, as replacements they would prolly blind you) Rated for around 3.7v @ 20mA they are brilliantly bright at 2600 mcd.(I use them for interior case lighting rather than a neon) For replacements i'd use the much lower mcd version someone already suggested.
 
i am blue da du dida du di dabu di.. i have a blue computer with a blue bling bling lights... i have a blue keyboard..w. blue bling bling lights... i have a blue monitor w/ blue bling bling lights... i wish i still havent had the guts to do the whole blue thing 🙂 just that that first part might be funny sorry for the waste of space
