oh, and hey, just stumbled on this over at overclockers.com (no affiliation, duh): Using the Alpha FC-PAL35T as a substitute.

[Edit] just checked some web sites, and it does seem to be the exact same as a 6035, but with rubber feet. however, no one (it was a brief search, im not in need of that much kharma) has them either. maybe the resellers are scrubbing off the feet and selling them as straight 6035's :Q
 
As far as I know (the ones I've seen), Alpha PAL35 and PAL6035 comes with different clips. If you guys are buying an PAL35 to subsitute for your Socket A processors, make sure you get them with the new clips from PAL6035!
