ws_ftp pro 8.03 is making my disk drive freak out

Hi, I was wondering if anyone was experiencing the same issue. Everytime I start up this program, my disk drive gets hammered as if it's looking for a disk. The program screen starts up in it's regular directory and nowhere can I see why the disk drive should be accessed.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

thanks but i have no idea what all the numbers that program gives mean....

spoke to IPSwitch. Was useless as usual. advised me to change startup options and that the program is fine. I used this program on 3 different computer (winxp, win2k) and it's the same.

guess I'm moving to a different client. Thank god for trial versions
