WRT54G V2 Rebooting

I have a WRT54G V2 and it reboots probably every hour. I have the latest firmware on it now from linksys. I am going to try an alternate firmware. I have it in the open so I dont think it is a heat thing. Any suggestions?
 
As marulee stated; try resetting the device to factory defaults and reflashing it. And in this case you don't need to worry about CAT5 as it's not a cabling issue.
 
Thanks for the reply - I did set to default before updating firmware. I think I may have the power supplies mixed up.
 
Anyone with a WRT54G tell me what thier power supply voltages say. On my WRT54G is says 12v 1000ma but on my power supply shows 12v 750ma so I dont think it is getting to correct power.
 
I tried the power supply for my RT31P2 which says 12v 1000ma and it comes up but when I look in the interface(192.168.1.1) it is all messed up. Can only see some of the info so I dont think that is the correct power needs.
 
anyone with WRT54G - can I get your psu info please. I also noticed that the RT31P2 has 23 Watts which is more than my WRT54G but I dont think it really matters. Anyone know?
