I have a WRT54G V8 that's about a year and a half old... i've started having a problem recently where i am unable to connect to it wirelessly, and cannot reach the configuration page on a wired connection, yet i still have internet access on the wired connection. I did a firmware upgrade today and it worked for about 8 hours and then relapsed. Any thoughts? I was considering a possibility of wireless interferance, as i have a wireless mouse and keyboard in close proximity, but they fact that it is crippled on the wired connection as well troubles me. powering down and resetting fixes the issue for a short while. Thanks.
 
Sounds like router need to be replaced. only way to know for sure is replace with a good known unit. You could try connecting directly to modem to see if you still have problem too.
