Problem:

WRT54G, WEP128, V3.0, works wonderfully wired.

Laptop 1: HP running WPC55AG, A/G card. Works wonderfully wirelessly without security.

Laptop 2: HP running WPC54G, G card. Works wonderfully wirelessly without security.

If security is enabled, both laptops are unable to connect. Laptop 2 is running ME, and in the utility, it shows the network (SSID hidden), but it does not show it as connected, and says unable to connect to access point.

Laptop 1 is running XP Home SP2, and having problems randomly taking too long to load google, and other stuff when security is enabled. Without security, it breezes through it.

Upgraded firmware to 4.20.7, and how do I work SES? Just click the SES button from the outside, or from setup, and just use WPA security on the laptops?

Please help!

I would LOVE to help you. Hell I even have both a WRT54G and the WRT54GS as the main backbone of my home network. I have 1 PC hardwired, a wireless notebook that roams between the main router and the two bridges, and a wireless PCI card in a tower that only uses one of the bridges. However, I'll refuse to help until you post in the correct forum.
