WRT54G dead?

Hi!

I have a weird problem with my WRT54G. The power LED is blinking all the time. Tried to ping the router without success. Set the system up as described by Sveasoft (static IP on PC, ....) - no way. The router does not respond anymore. Resetting the device - no way. Flashing - no way. Is there a way to get control back?
 
my WRT54G just died too. went to plug it in after moving and nothing. the power led lights up then goes out and it does nothing after that.

any better replacements for it?
