Wrong time zone XP

My XP session keeps changing it's time zone from GMT back to pacific standard time.

Anybody know why?? Does it about every other day.

Right-click on the lower right-hand corner clock. Is your current time zone set correctly? Also check Ctl. Panel/Administrative Tools/Services & disable "Windows Time" service. If your time zone is correctly set, then using "Atomic Time" or similar shareware program will set current time, accurate to the second.

XP has the ability to automatically update the time when you are on the internet.. I read that this timecheck doesn't work correctly.

FIX: go to Time and Date in your Control Panel, Internet Time tab and uncheck the Automatically synch....box.

That may solve your problem.

Ahhh I see.

Thank you all I have disabled the autosync.

Safrai so Goody (That one just for the brits I think)
