Just finished building Soltek Sl-75DRV2 mb with retail AMD athlon XP+ 1800 processor, intial screen on Award bios v6.0 indicates" AMD Athlon 1150 MHtz" . I checked speed on chip and it is marked as 1800. Speed should be > 1500 Mhtz. Any suggestions?

Change your Front Side buss my friend, this happened to me also

The Mobo HAS to default to 100 MHz FSB - what if you put a Duron or so into the board - it may not boot up!
