We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
I'm currently using a 7800GS on a HannsG JW199D 19" WS but it will not let me choose 1440 x 900 as the highest resolution. The best it does is 1280 x 1024 can anyone help me with this......
negative, i ran into the same problem. i installed RC2 which comes with bad drivers. now i have to download and install RC1 to get a decent resolution.
the last two driver releases from nvidia neglect the 16:10 aspect ratio. you can drop back to 96.33 to get your resolution back.
i also read somewhere that if you go through VGA instead of DVI it will let you. odd problem. should be fixed soon.
*EDIT*
i did read that there is a program called Powerstrip that will allow you to manually enter resolutions. but it costs $30.
Thanks for the info, after removing the WDDM driver MS kept installing everytime i disabled and removed it i finally got 96.33 install and it's running great thanks. Hopefully nVidia will fix this shortly
