I'm so distant from it because the odds of anything happening to anyone in the US from a terrorist is so remote that we'd be better off focusing on preventing cow stampedes.

An airplane will never fly in to my office and a person will never bomb my house. Penn and Teller have an episode that explains how people's fear of this is total BS.
