Internet Explorer stores some toolbar data in a cache that can sometimes get out of sync with the registered toolbars. By deleting a key in your Windows registry, you can clear your IE toolbar cache. IE will reset the cache the next time you launch it.

Close all your browser windows.
Open the Windows registry editor by going to Start > Run and typing "regedit".
In the folder tree on the left side, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser\
On the right side, select ITBarLayout and delete it.
Launch a browser window and see if that fixed the problem.

That DID IT!

Thanks DUDE!

I know. It's hard to look at perfect beauty directly, isn't it? 😀

FYI on the print screen thing (even though you dont need to do it now)

hit ALT Print Screen to capture just the open active window rather the the entire screen then Ctrl V to paste it in Paint.

That didn't work either.

And on further investigation, it looks like PAINT is gone...

Looks like my computer is a bit messed up.

As soon as my BIOS chip for my MAIN computer shows up (hopefully TODAY!) I may have to reformat this thing and re install.

It's been doing STRANGE things lately...

That's cool, I always did the whole screen and then had to crop the window I wanted. This will surely save some time.

something DOES happen when you hit print screen. Your screen image is copied onto the clipboard. No confirmation box or anything comes up. It simply captures whatever is on screen and puts it in your clipboard. You should be able to paste this image in any place when you could normally paste an image, (paint, office etc...)

yep, nothing will be visible on the screen when you hit Alt Print Screen. but after doing so you should be able to copy that screen print into any program that accepts images (Microsoft Paint, Word, Photoshop, etc...) with the paste command. (ctrl v or right click-paste)

No, but I just deleted that key again, and now it's working (again).

I just wonder what could be causing this to happen.

Other than me being OLD and retarded that is...
