most likely spyware. have you ran spybot and ad-aware recently?

Adaware, Yes.

Yesterday.

I'll do it again now and see what pops up...

Run Spybot S&D as well.

I just downloaded it as well.

I'll install and run that after Ad-Aware 6.0 Pro is done.

Ad-Aware = 3

Spybot = 20!

Before, every time I would run ad aware and then SpyBot, spy bot would find NOTHING. So I stopped running it. I guess Ad Aware by itself just doesn't cut it after all!

Thanks for the tips!

Hummm.

Spy Bot first sweep 5 entries under DSO exploit.

Second sweep 5 entries under DSO exploit. But that's ALL that showed this time.

Guess I'll go for sweep 3 and see if it comes up clean...

Ran update, and now scanning again!

that's a bug in spybot, you can ignore the remaining one's that say DSO exploit

Yeah, I just googled DSO exploit. Looks to be a bug in I.E.

Service pack two would probably fix it, but last time I installed SP2 on a old XP install it hosed my system.

I found a page telling me how to fix the bug with out doing SP2 though. Guess I'll give that a try!

Odd, I rebooted and started in safe mode. Ran SpyBot again in safe mode and I only got 3 DSO exploits this time instead of 5. Everything else is clean now though!

Thanks for everyone's help!
