ok, i finally found myself on the TA stats list. the reason why i had so much trouble finding myself was because, even though i had selected Australia from the country menu in my profile, it is displaying the American flag next to my name. i had previously just skimmed through the list for aussie flags, and because my flag was wrong i couldn't find myself. other aussie users have there correct flag shown, so im not sure why mine isn't working. any ideas?

i think it would be great if members could just search for their member name and have that display their stats.

I'm assuming you're referring to the pproxy stats on Teamanandtech.com. If that's the case, the flags are worked out automatically from the email address you submit blocks under. If it's a .au address then you should have the Australian flag shown correctly. If you have anything other than that then it will depend on the email domain (.com for instance would flag as USA regardless of where you are in the world)

I changed my name to ...ca and retired my old account into it specifically because I didn't want to seem like I was supporting those Yanks. ;)

But seriously... it's nice to be able to display your own flag, but you need to have the right domain name in those stats.

i think the flags should be used based on the country you pick from the country menu in your profile. my isp is obviously australian but they have chosen to go with the domain of techsurfer.net without the .au on the end. i'd rather have a little icon that in someway resembles a network (maybe an icon of a hub or something), rather than the US flag, because i too, do not want to make it look like i'm supporting the US.

The flag code for the members section and the flag code for the pproxy are seperate; and there's no way to integrate them without writing a brand new stats program.:(
