wrong clock speed

My Asus A7N8X mobo only clocks my Athlon 2000 at 1250mhz - where's the rest !?:Q

sounds like you have the wrong fsb setting
check your bios
we get a few new posters with this problem a week don't feel bad

set the FSB to 133MHz and you'll get it to post at Athlon XP 2000+ speed
