Writely Invites?

I've noticed posts about Gmail invites, so I thought that this would be acceptable

I was wondering if anyone had a writely invite to give out. We can't register on their site yet, but it is possible to join the network as a "collaborator" of a document that a registered user opens.

Each user can add 50 collaborators

If this is against the forum policy, sorry and I'll delete it.

Thanks

its a "web 2.0" wordprocessor

google actually just released their "spreadsheets"

the main reason this stuff is good as it allows for online collaboration (i know there is some linux software that does this well -- i used it when writing sciene papers; can't remember the name)

you need an invite? thought it was open to the public when i signed up... people who pm me in the next 3 min get an invite, or the first 5 people, whichever is more... sorry don't have the time to respond if you're too late, so you'll either get an invite from me or you won't get any response

Is this like a WIKI that's restricted to active members only?

" We have closed off new registrations until we move Writely to Google's systems.

Please submit your e-mail address and we'll send you an email when registration opens back up! "

I sent a PM to ng12345 for an invite so we'll see if it still works.
