Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood tonight!!

I think it's going to arguably be the best Wrestlemania ever. Here are my predictions:

HHH def. Batista to retain World Heavyweight Title
Cena def. JBL to win WWE Title
Angle def. HBK due to Jannety interfering
Christian will win the 6-Man Money in the Bank match
Randy Orton def. Undertaker

Also, when Stone Cold is getting interviewed on Piper's pit, Muhammad Hussain will interrupt it and the two of them will have a match.

I'm hoping Hulk Hogan has something, but I doubt it!!

Any input/ideas on plot twists tonight, put them in here.

Oh yeah, if you aren't a wrestling fan and decide it is your duty to flame, get a life.
 
I stopped watching wrestling when they split up the stars between smackdown and raw. The storylines were stupid at the time and it just got boring.
 
marty jannety is back?!? does he still hold a grudge with hbk?? (havent watched wrestling since i was a litte kid, but remember when he got his head smashed through the barbershop window)
 
Jannetty and HBK had a rockers reunion. See, what happened is that Kurt Angle is trying to one up HBK. So he brought Jannetty back to beat him, etc. They haven't mentioned any beef from the notorious sweet chin through the window, just the good times with the rockers. The lack of mentioning leads me to believe that he will mess up HBK in his match.

Wrestling is obviuosly fake. The difference is it's a liveshow, unlike any sitcom, and they are actors and athletes. I am a wrestler myself, so I see more than just men in tights (lol) I'm a big fan of the storylines and which angles they are going to take.

I hear ya dude. Vince MacMahon made a speech just after mania last year on giving the fans what they wanted, finally, with new rivalries, storylines, etc. I just started watching again a year ago and I can honestly say the product they are putting out now is excellent. A lot less crap with topless women and all that time waster stuff, and more of the good old wrasslin'.

Dont get me wrong, I was really entertained up till that point... but really, when they broke up the wrestlers into two groups, it just screwed up the show IMO. I know it's fake, but I liked it anyways. I took a look at who's in there still and it's weird all the names I dont recognize at all... of course, HHH is still there and Big Show... but anyways, I'll give it another chance if you say it's gotten better.

I wouldn't say the best WM ever. There's not a lot of luster coming into it. You can't top some of the classic matches from previous WM's, like Steve vs Bret, UT vs (well any of the previous opponents), Angle vs Brock.

My predictions:

Batista defeats HHH w/ Edge interferring on HHH's behalf. There's no way after this monster push and face time that Batista is going to get screwed. They'll basically have wasted 5-6 months of the push if backstage politician HHH gets his way. You cant not expect Batista to win. I also think Edge might show up as a member of Evolution. Tomko would make a good choice too IMO.

Cena defeats JBL. JBL has held the title waaay too long for a previous low mid-carder face. It's Cena's time. Vince already said he wants Cena to make it big, like The Rock did. He's over with the fans - just needs a nice title reign.

Angle beats HBK. I frickin' hate that old man acting like it's 1990 again. Janetty is already confirmed for a Rocker's Reunion tour, there's no way he's going to help Angle.

6 Man Match - I have no idea. I'd like to say Jericho but if Batista holds the title, it'd have to be a heel who wins.

Not sure on Orton vs UT. I'm thinking UT pulls one out, then Orton decimates him post match to get over more as a heel. UT hasn't really lost since his new Dead Man gimmick b/c he wants a massive push (more backstage politics) - hard to believe he'd job to Orton at WM.

UnderTaker is retiring. This is his last season, he may win so he goes out on top. It would be nice.

The new guys don't even have half the charisma the older guys had! When WCW tanked is when wrestling went down hill. Now that there is no competition, WWE can just do what they want. Oh, Triple H needs to go away! I am so tired of seeing his mug, and his endless reign with the title belt.

Agreed.. I'm just not feeling Batista the way the rest of the fans are.. He's too manufacturered.. Too fake...

But almost anyone is better as champ then HHH at this point.

I agree with it being Cenas time.. JBL has been champ far too long too.

I think Taker is going to take Orton to school..

$50 for the show via streaming intarweb tech? No!
 
i dont think orton will win. maybe the undertaker will win at WM, but orton will eventually beat him to sell "the legend killer" status.

Awesome response. See, I think Batista takes the title at the next PPV, just to keep the heat going a little bit longer. They've built him up to be such a monster and unstoppable, I can't see HHH putting him over at his 2nd Wrestlemania, although I do hope he wins.

Cena will totally win.

That's a good point about Jannetty and the rockers reunion tour...didnt take that into account.

Also, NO ONE has commented on Austin vs. Hussain. I can't WAIT if it happens...I like HUssain's gimmick, and I know if anyone has anything to say about it, it would be the rattlesnake.
 
See, they are hyping the 12-0 Undertaker thing. I have also heard he's retiring, but not confirmed if this year or next year at WM. I hope Orton wins, but I also like UT...so I don't care.

Also, if anyone has been watching Smackdown. I am calling Angle coming down from the rafters, just to one-up HBK's rafter call. I know this would be the 1st time since Owen Hart....but I think it would be intense if it does happen.
