Why is everyone screaming about drinking and driving? It?s not like it?s the same thing as murder. It?s not that big of a deal. So he drink and drove big deal, I am glad that you didn't get arrested and didn't kill anyone. Car can be repair and you only hit the tree so glad you are alive and go on with your life and ignore everyone that are screaming about drinking and driving.

Drinking and driving IS a big deal. You're naive if you think it's not. Not only was he drunk, but he left the scene of an accident. We're all glad he didn't kill anyone but the fact of the matter is, he COULD have. If someone hurt your loved one in a drunk driving accident it'd be a pretty big deal, even if nobody died.

yes he could have killed someone but he didn't so end the story. As for drinking and driving you are wrong its not as big deal as everyone make it unless hit someone. Yes i knew people who got kiled due to dui and i still don't see it beeing big deal

edit: also don't forget when you have alot of money and you can afford really good lawyers you look at life different then if you are poor.
We really need a "special" forum where we can move these people into...

You are an idiot. I hope you are not expecting any sympathy from anyone here. Maybe next time you will think twice about getting behind the wheel.

You guys really piss me off on the drinking and driving threads.

I literally don't know a single normal person (the kind who doesn't spend 23 hours a day in front of a computer) who hasn't gone out and driven somewhere after drinking too much. I know plenty of people that do it on a regular basis. I'm not saying it's a good idea, or excusable, but it happens. ALL THE TIME.

Have any of you ever been to an actual bar? What percentage of bar patrons (lets say those who have been there longer than 1 hour) have had too much to drink to safely drive? I'll say 60%. Somehow the rest were in a bar nursing a single drink the whole time.

What percentage of bar patrons leave the bar in a cab? 5% if you're lucky.

So, even assuming that half the people got a ride to the bar, (and have a designated driver) that means 25% of the people in any given bar on any given night are going to drive home under the influence. Is that a surprise to the drinkers? No. Is that a surprise to the bar owners? No. Is it a surprise to the police? No.

So if your town has 15 bars and every bar serves 300 people in a night, that's 1000 drunk drivers on the road every night that NO ONE SHOULD BE SURPRISED ABOUT.

Grow up, deal with it, move on. Bunch of freakin hyprocrites. I'll tell you what else is dangerous - speeding. Driving a POS car with bad brakes. Not paying attention while driving. Eating fast food while driving. But I'm sure no one here has ever done any of those things.

What does that have to do with anything. So you've proven there are tons of morons in the world. Big deal. Quit trying to shift the blame Mr. Red Herring.
