I'm using WPA on my netgear wgr614v2 router and linksys wireless card. Now my question is before I used WPA my home network worked fine. Now since i've enabled it neither computer can see eachother, all networking settings were untouched besides enabling WPA. Any ideas?

Message I get:

\\Push\my shared folder is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the adminisitrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The network path was not found.

No this is a common Windows problem. It has nothing to do with WPA. What versions of windows are you using.

I recently created an adhoc network utilizing WEP (a little different). I had the cable modem connection on computer 1 and shared that connection out via a pci wireless card to computer 2. When I used ICS built into xp, I had nothing but problems like you described.

I went in and set wireless nic 1 192.168.0.1 and wireless nic 2 to 192.168.0.2 - then got rid of ICS in XP and went with a proxy program called proxy plus I run on computer #1 and changed it where only 192.168.0.2 could access the proxy server (for security), enabled wep, and all runs SUPER smooth now. . .

YMMV
