Is there any chance the announced Samsung Ativ Odyssey for Verizon will just be the Ativ S except with a different name? I really like the look of the Ativ S.

The way Verizon works is that it NEEDS a unique device so expect the Odyssey to either actually be the ATIV S and everyone else gets a different looking device (with same specs) or expect it to be a little bit of a different look (a la Lumia 822).

Well the ATIV S isn't planned to be available in the US, so maybe the Odyssey really will just be a ATIV S except with LTE? Since the ATIV S doesn't have it built in native (non-US phone)

all social and cloud improvements

still no equalizer or audio normalization.

I have an equalizer on my ancient HTC Trophy (oem app, but still).

Personally I have to wait to see the camera abilities...if the 920 is that far superior to everything else, I will hold out for it (or the equivalent) on Verizon.

I rather like what they're doing with WP8. Hopefully it will lite a fire under Google to pressure the carriers a bit to get them to push updates out more timely. Any competition is good and WIndoes Phone as an OS ran quite good IMO. I hope other manufacturers jump on board and start pushing the specs a bit higher with quad core and MicroSD card slots. Every phone manufacturer can learn from Nokia when it comes to making a camera for a phone. The Lumia 920 seems to be superb in that regard.
Explain?
