I play counterstrike and quake 2 mostly, my voodoo 5 is still up to par for it...basically I explain most of it in my post.

Does WinXP actually have anything to do with it or is it just the drivers?
COuld you see the same increase under Win2000 with the Det4s?

I went from 6888 to 7494 w/ the 21.81's.

win98se i went from 5400-6850 in 3dmarks
i was already at 5900 with no det4s in winxp.

i think a combo of both... i would say.. without the drivers prolly about 56-5700 which is still a sweet increase! 😛

All I can say is, QuakeIII--demo four, 1600X1200 with EVERYTHING maxed out...average fps: 94.

(235/545) and with the DetXP drivers.

For comparison sake, when running 3D Mark 2001, do you guys leave all the default settings or is there a specific configuration ?

i have the 1290 dets using win98se and my question is for anyone who has a geforce 2 pro, will the new dets show a significant increase in performance if i get the new ones?? im asking cuase i think the ones i have are good enough for me but i want to get the most out of my vid. card 😛
