The server I am working on remotely just downloaded SP1 in under 1 minute. I want that speed at my workstation.

FYI - Server 2003 SP1 is 329MB

heh, a while back at a company i used to work for, i could pull in anywere from 20K/sec to 2-3 megs per second...it would even vary minute to minute

the odd thing was it didn't seem to matter if there were a lot of people in the office or what...it was pretty well random 😕

but yeah ive gotten ~5mb/s from MS before...dorm connection 😀

are you talking megabits or megabytes per minute? OP is doing about 5 megabytes which i believe is about 8x faster than 5 megabits (someone jump in and correct that if i'm wrong)

yeah, i've gotten 3mb/s steady at home once from download.com. but thats nothing compared to the +3MB I got here on my server
