I really hope that the next time the Democrats put candidates out to run for office, that they tear a page out of their playbook. Insulting millions of potential voters, by labeling them, just because they're not agreeing with them is really a bad look. Sell what you're going to do for me, don't call me names, just because I'm not yet sold on what you have to offer. Have a conversation and try and turn people to your policies, rather than dismiss those who don't agree, off hand. I'm an American voter and I've voted for candidates on both sides of the aisle. If you automatically assume that, just because I'm conservative, I am:
Racist
Bigot
Misogynist
Homophobic
Anti-LGBTQ
Islamophobic
Xenophobic

You lose me. I am none of those things. This, I feel, was a huge mistake that the Clinton campaign made and this crap was the worst I've ever seen. It turns voters off and this was proven in the last election. I hope the Democrats learn from these mistakes. If not, expect to continue to lose elections, if you double down.

Yawn, always the victim.

When the person running for POTUS (either through his own words, or through his actions... ex.cabinet elections) exhibits these traits, you are going to get a lot of people making a connection between his voters and those traits. Elected leaders are a representation of the people. Whether you like it or not.

We heard it before his election that the people weren't these things. That they wanted Trump because he was anti-establishment. Now after his election, his cabinet appointees are ALL of these things, but what they AREN'T is ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT. That should be a deal-breaker for the people who put him into office. Yet I haven't seen anything showing me that the people who supposedly were only voting for him because he was going to clean house, are now denouncing him because he lied the entire time. Shouldn't they be rising up and demanding he reverse his cabinet picks that are clearly THE establishment? Are you seeing that from the right? I am not. I see the same people who denounced Trump from the beginning pointing out the ridiculousness of these clowns. Instead all I see are posts from people telling the left that they need to "get over it losers."

You would possibly have a leg to stand upon if Trump made one or two remarks that could be misconstrued. Not when he says and does things nearly every day that show all the things you listed earlier. Not to mention even the White Nationalists consider Trump to be a major victory. Did you watch Trump rallys? Did you see a lot ethnic diversity in those groups?

Trump is your representation whether you like it or not. Can you list some of your Anandtech posts here that show you denouncing the hate filled rhetoric that Trump spilled during his campaign? And even if you do show that, how does that change the fact that there are clearly a large group of angry white men voting for the man because he IS all of those things.

Trump represents these things, and now the whole world can see that America's underbelly does as well.

Lash -- glad you said those things. Saves me the trouble.

There's no reasoning with that crowd. After the election, they're all spitting in our faces. Almost as if to assume that we're "coming together" because "they say so, and we better do it." Forget the majority of the electorate who voted the other way. And -- forget reality.

You couldn't have made my point any better. You are a case example of what I said. Insults are all you have, the typical M.O. of Democrats. I actually feel sorry for you. :(

Ah... Get this guy a safe space guys, people are mean to him and he doesn't like it.

The thing about spitting... very, very soon the wind will shift and they will both be spitting and pissing into the wind. It will all come full circle. When it becomes to blatantly obvious they have voted against every single one of their self interests while watching them still trying to gloat with their "I meant to do that" low information mentality it is going to be glorious... the haves will still have... the have nots will be out in the street where they belong still crying about their jerbs that are never coming back...

When you look at this Clinton email timeline its pretty obvious she blew a huge hole in her foot trying to circumvent FOIA laws. The irony is she was too stupid to think this was not going to negatively impact her presidential run back when she thought it was a good idea.

The timeline is quite detailed and interesting and it really puts a negative light on HRC much more than what you heard in the regular news cycle.

Nice, I particularly liked this one as it's the first time I've seen it.

So Hillary's State Dept never had an IG watchdog. Who would've ever guessed....

January 15, 2008—September 30, 2013: The State Department has no permanent inspector general for the entire time Clinton is secretary of state.

Instead, an acting inspector with close ties to State Department leadership fills the role. An “inspector general” is an internal watchdog tasked with discovering mismanagement and corruption.

Op comes across as being a "little late", but

# Identity politics, A good chunk of Americans are worried about making rent not about you making history as the first woman president.

I totally agree with that.

And now you will have a POTUS who ignores security briefings because he's supposedly smart. Remember the last time the POTUS ignored a security briefing named "Bin Laden determined to attack United States".

But you are getting exactly what you voted for comrade compuwiz!

Another reason HRC lost. Right when Trump was looking bad and his campaign at a high vulnerability point, she chose to vacation during the summer and spend time hanging with the gilded class(whom she felt more comfortable with). This gave trump plenty of time to regroup and made her look out of touch. She took off thinking she had it in the bag, she was forced back into the race when the numbers started turning again.

She enjoys hanging and fundraise-vacationing with them and being in her bubble surrounded by the gilded class.

http://time.com/4481319/hillary-clinton-september-campaign-events/

In the heat of late August, Hillary Clinton all but disappeared from the public eye, retreating to the country’s wealthiest enclaves from Nantucket to Beverly Hills to host private, high-dollar fundraisers.

But now Clinton signaled this week that her cloistered campaign will change. Saying she would be more accessible (We should all be grateful she makes herself more accessible to the little people)

I was surprised that they threw Huma under the bus, she'd probably take a bullet for Hillary.

All this talk of "the gilded class" and "wealthiest enclaves" is rather cute. How many billionaires has Trump proposed for his cabinet at this point?

The election is over. You have the government that you deserve. Hillary is old news now. Time to move on and figure out who the next Democrat is that has to be destroyed.

Jeez guys. The election is over. The horse has not only been declared dead, it's been buried. Time to move on with your lives.
