Not to poopoo on your thread, but:

a) That car is ugly - looks like a high strung Civic Si.
b) That Caldina still has a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Gimme the 6 MPS. It has more power and torque and has a 6-speed manual tranny with AWD. Yum.

Mmmm....Gotta love Ford Australia!!! The GT engine will be an 5.4l V8, with 4 valves per cylinder etc, outputting even more again, in the 300kW+ region!!!!

that's one sweet interior for the Caldina... imo the US Matrix's interior looks cheap, same with the new Corolla, but the Celica (which is mechanical the same) looks lightyears better interior-wise. but exterior wise, it's quite a different story.


whao, after reading Autozine and knowing the wide range of automobile available outside of America. I feel less confused and glad to live in America. coz there are no insane amount of cars out there (not to mention various engine options)

of course, on the other hand, America does not have most of the goodies that europe and asia have.

The Audi A4 Avant weighs 3516 lbs for the 1.8T and 3683 lbs for the 3.0, so what are you talking about?

Also, an A4 RS4 Avant would give a Camaro a pretty good fight.

Actually, most people see it the exact opposite way. The Celica has the cheesy interior and the new '03 has a great interior. I've been in it and the materials/fit & finish are first rate. It's like a mini-Lexus inside with the leather interior.
