The scene where she jumps back on the ship (after Zane and Leo put her on the lifeboat), as unreal as it may be, was awesome.

My grandmother was a survivor. Her exit off the ship was just about as dramatic as anything Hollywood could imagine and is chronicled in detail in Walter Lord's famous 1950's book A Night To Remember.

My parents and her got free tickets to the Philadelphia premier of the 1958 movie of the same name.

And how my Dad got her name added to the traveling Titanic exhibit that made its way around the country in the wake of this later movie? You just couldn't make that stuff up, my friends.
