Oh, so the whole lifer thing was your motive for wanting to leave? I would not have noted it had you not pointed to it yourself. Now I have to hold back all of the well wishes I had for you.

But wow! You made that many friends? Wow! LOL! I take that to be figurative. But still, I'm perplexed with how much friends people make through media such as this.

What is with everybody leaving when they hit 10k posts? Not to say that I miss any of them (nothing against you in particular Beau, I don't really know you) but it is sort of baffling. Oh well, at my current rate, I should have another good half decade or so before I have to worry about the midlife crisis of having 10,000 posts on Anandtech. :)
