We had alot of scuff marks on the walls after moving into our new place... 2 minutes with the Magic Eraser around the house and they were ALL gone... Freakin sweet....

Highly Reccomended!

Any side effects, such as wearing down paint or staining fabrics?

they can damage the finish on some wood (like paneling).. but seem fine on painted wood. fabric is fine, it's just a weird white sponge and you just use it with water.. so.. as long as the fabric can handle getting slightly damp it's fine.. they're good on shiney appliances too, although you might need to dry them to get them sparkley. the newer ones with the blue sponge on the back side are nicer than the old ones.

like most anything you probably want to try them on a small spot that doesn't show much and decide for yourself.

How does it work?

magic. 🙂

some kinda microfiber action, only in sponge form? (those microfiber cloths are really more useful and durable for general cleaning.. wonderful dusters, dry and amazing cleaning/scrubbing action damp.. and you can toss 'em in the washer and they're good as new.. but I haven't tried them on getting marks off painted walls..)

eh.. here's the official stuff

and this will get you a free sample. 🙂
