Well, it depends where you zoom it. It only has extra sharp detail on these select areas.
Also, unlike TerraServer, this has the following:
-Elevation data for 3D rendering
-Complete US Roads, boundaries, and POIs
-4.5 million US business listings
Better than terraserver imo...
