Looks PRETTY FVCKING NICE! thats not the resort I'm staying at, but the damn water looks incredible! I am at work w/no work to really do today and my manager isn't here yet, and I keep looking at that image every 10 minutes!

AAAAH I HATE WAITING!! 6 MORE DAYS ON THIS CRAPPY CONTINENT UNTIL IM IN ARUBA!!!

(its not really crappy, i just want to get the hell out of here, i've never even been out of the country)

PS. Don't worry, I don't plan on getting kidnapped and becoming missing.

which is one of the reasons we chose to go to the low-rise area of Aruba ... not crowded at all. our resort has like 72 rooms total in the place.

I used to go to school 20 minutes from here 😛

I can still go back and stay for free at a friend's. We used to sleep at that beach all the time 😀

Sarasota, Fl. That's beercan island (it's not really an island, but the northern tip of Longboat key). It suffered a lot of erosion damage from one of the recent hurricanes, so the northern most access point is closed, which means you can have a great experience with few people around if you walk a bit.

go here, zoom in, and drag your way to the tip of the key.

Nice, which resort are you staying at? I stayed at the Manchebo last September and the beach was the most gorgeous I had ever been to. It's a shame a hurricane passed 50 miles north of us while we were there though so half our vacation was pretty wet.

Be prepared to devote a looooong time to dining... for some reason food service in Aruba is excruciatingly slow, from taking the order to getting the food to getting the bill. I think each meal took 2 hours each on average (and this was at several different restaurants).
