There are not too many other Internet forums that I am aware of that have history back to 2000. Most have had so many software changes that their history has been lost at some point in the process. This one also has very high traffic compared to a lot of others. Anyway, good work, Anandtech!
 
The only other one I can think of is the Arstechnica forum. It goes back to the about the same time. I still have my original login for there, showing a join date in 1999. I had that here as well but I think about 4 years ago Anand required people to re-up their usernames and I was taking a break around that time and missed keeping my original username. Bummer on my part.

Since October 2000. Lurked for a good few months before that.

But yeah, most of the talent that made this place great has moved on. Even Anand.
 
I've been lurking here since ~2000, only joined in on the fun recently. I've been a member at VWVortex/The Car Lounge since ~97 or so. I think I have a grand total of <10 posts though. I'm not one for making tons of posts.

I've beeen a lurker here prior to joining. I just didn't want to have so many forums to keep up with. But when they banned my ass at TechIMO I came here. LOL I could go back to TechIMO with a new IP address, but they have disgusted me and don't felling like contributing to that shit hole.
