Not really. I think in the last week, I only averaged two or three timeouts per day. I only ever used the quick reply two or three times.

I gotta say I can't quite understand why it does that, either. It shouldn't need to scan the entire thread to retrieve the last posts. I'd be curious to see the query that's used, but I doubt that will happen 😛

Perhaps the reason it was locked was because a few people were going overboard with post upon post upon post within minutes of each other
