Wow there is only 8.8 fps difference from pc133 SDRAM to PC3000 DDR ram in games? :(

You don't seem to get it.

The RAM has roughly 10% impact on performance in a single program. A higher bandwidth RAM only comes into play when paired with the pentium 4 or using multiple programs at once. Thats it!

Perhaps you should research the facts for yourself. I could have told you that buying faster RAM WILL not increase performance.

You wasted your money just to gain a 10% performance gain. *shakes head*

xxsk8er101xx lol i did not even get ddr ram! lol. I am still on my 256 mb of pc133 sdram which i am running 20 programs + on right now and its very smooth, fast, etc! I even was able to play GTA3, Quake 3 arena, serious sam 2, etc while running all those programs. I even encode and run a whole lot of programs at the same time. I game too while encoding without a slow down. This is all on 256 mb of pc133 sdram. Its not ever slow at all.

I am sure i will be waiting intill a lot faster ram comes along because it really does not seem like its worth even going to the latest DDR ram. I may wait for QDR ram or beyond.
