Wow.. The Queen got 93% on Rotten Tomatoes

Movies that are liked by critics are often not liked by the general public.

Personally, I've never heard of the movie.

Teenagers are the majority of people who go to the movies these days. Do you honestly think they want to see Queen? Or Saw 3? 😛

because it only sounds semi interesting, a lotta hullabaloo about the chicks acting but so what, thats not gonna get by butt to the theater. at best i'll shove it on my netflix queue like most people probably are.

I saw the movie and liked it, but not because of the subject matter or the acting - which was good, I'm sure.

If you're a fan of Scotland and hunting, you gotta see this thing on the big screen.

P.S. If there's any accuracy to this, those royals are seriously insane.

I have never heard of it, I am sure that applies to a lot of other people also. No theater around here has it. Combine those two, and you could have the greatest movie ever with low box office numbers.

well it wasn't under the radar, i remember her being on talk shows and npr doing reviews and such.

the whole diana and royals thing just aren't as important to us in the us.

Probably because it doesn't have car chase, bodies blowing up in slow motion or women with big boobs running around

Because...
A) The majority of users on Rotten Tomatoes are snobs
B) (The vast majority of) Americans dont give a ****** about the whole english royalty thing
C) Chick flick?

1) Box office numbers and movie quality have almost never correlated. See Blair Witch Project

2) I've never even heard of this movie, implying that maybe not much has been done about advertisement

3) Sounds interesting but not something I'm dying to see by the synopsis

4) No one listens to the critics, they can sometimes be very stupid
