Wow, the most unobjective review I think I have ever read

Wow. This one surprised me when I got to the end:
mvktech

After scrolling past all the gainward ads, I read the conclusion.

Did it meet those expectations? Beyond our senses! Gainward can truly stand behind their statement. Their products are built with only one thing in mind and that is to blow you away, beyond your senses. It's exciting to see Gainward bring out these super fast boards, but it really is a tough balancing act to get right. But without any doubt did just that, blowing away all competition.

With Gainward and its company commitment to bring the end user the best possible video card experience and customer support, you are sure to have a professional experience. Gainward puts the consumer first and offers one of the best sales and support staff in the business. Each staff member is highly trained and very skilled at there responsibilities and you will get prompt professional help. Gainward certainly knows how to differentiate themselves and their products, and are second to none when it comes to innovation and going one step further than the competition.

The entire conclusion sounds like PR dribble on the box. Normally I don't post this sorta stuff but I figured I would throw it out there. I wonder how much the review cost gainward?

mvktech puts out solid video bios modding info and tools - I forgive them. To one degree or another all sites are bought and paid for.

Yea Mark Check out what Wes just said about Corsair: Sounded like from Corsair site when I was reading it.

Memory from Corsair is widely distributed around the world. This makes the Corsair brand the most recognized brand of enthusiast memory. It is easy to find just about anywhere you might be located. Corsair has been manufacturing high-speed memory since 1994. They maintain an extensive line of memory, ranging from their Value Select brand of low-cost memory to their top-end XMS line.

Corsair is well known as an innovator in the high performance memory market. As a result they enjoy a large and loyal customer base. The new PC2-10000 represents a new record in rated memory speed, but it achieves this with technology introduced with the Dominator series. As the flag ship of the Corsair memory line, the XMS2 Dominator brings many unique innovations in the PCB and memory cooling. One of the most unusual Dominator features is the dual-path cooling, which Corsair calls DHX, or Dual Heat Exchange.

WHat part of that is a lie?
Or is it the way it's written (drama) that your talking about?

I've been noticing things like this on some of the smaller review sites lately. It stands out like a sore thumb. I figured it was either filler (because they didn't know enough technical details to write a full article/review) or possibly the terms of the manufacturer ... i.e. you can review our card free of charge if you sneak this blurb into your article. Maybe that's how it works with lesser-known sites that don't have relationships with manufacturers? Just a wild guess.

Sounds right to me. I guess they get free samples as long as they add a company PR statement in the review.

Agreed. And I don't begrudge them doing it to generate revenue. I.E. as long as they don't fall too far down that slippery slope, as Tom's Hardware did; becoming a blatant shill.

Yes sir, this site is as guilty as most of pimping for profit. Doesn't have the same "feel" either, since Anand stop being real hands on, or is that just me?

I used to read TH, but not much recently. I hadn't heard anything about this. What are they shilling over there?

I wish I could tell you but it's beyond our senses! I think I know what's gonna replace 'All your bases are belong to us!" LOL!😀
