Is it true that using these every couple of days actually does more damage to your nose than it does good?

IE Permanent reddening, increased visible pore size, and general unpleasantness?

Well alpha hydroxies remove reddening and shrink pore size. So worst case scenario is if it did increase the pore size and cause reddening just use an alpha hydroxy lotion afterwards.

Personally, I've never used one of these strips. My nose looks fine though.
