Wow... Taxes on Vonage really did go up quite a bit....

It used to be ~ $1 in taxes on my $15/mo service.... These are the taxes now;

Regulatory Recovery Fee $0.99
Emergency 911 Cost Recovery $0.99
Federal Universal Service Surcharge $1.52
State Gross Receipts $0.68
County Communications Service Tax $0.61

Not a huge deal obviously, but still almost 500% more than I was paying before in taxes.

Mine is 6.95 SAF + 0.50 911 + 14% taxes on an $17 bill.

I pay $28 a month.

At least there isnt a "general surcharge" like car rental places charge. LOL what the hell is a general surcharge? Why dont they just raise the rates that much and stop fvcking us in the butthole
