In court Wednesday, Cherry admitted to Judge Margaret Clancy that the younger girl put the cat in the oven - and "I didn't let the cat out."

The pair fled the apartment because they didn't want to hear the dying cat's cries or desperate scratching at the oven door, authorities said.

this made me sick

You people get so riled up over a domesticated animal... jeez.

It's more to the point of the animal not being able to defend itself - if it had been an adult cat, it probably would scratched the hell out of both of the kids or at least ran away [hid]. The kitten really didn't have any choice in the matter... [I personally think their crime should be treated as if they threw a human baby in the oven]

She has a history of criminal abuse against humans and animals without any consequence for her actions. She just laughs them off as "it was a joke". This will surely lead to more serious crimes down the road...

People like her need to be locked up in a mental institution [for life].
