Wow, school absolutely sucks

i cannot believe this thread is for real ...

in all seriousness dude, you need to get some help from a shrink or something. i mean i just graduated last may after 5 years in college, and i lived on campus for 4 years. i had a blast living there. i also had no easy major. i did computer science at UMD, and at the time UMD was ranked #9 in the country as far as their cirriculum, so it was no easy task. i almost dropped out of my major after my first year because it was so difficult, but my 2nd year i just figured out what i needed to do. and it all is pretty much time management. at first i would wait last minute to get stuff done, study not much for tests, etc. after i started my programming assignments the day they were assigned, instead of 2 weeks later the day before they were due, i quickly saw my grades change, and just all around i felt better. i also started going to the gym on a regular basis at that time and i got ripped. i wouldn't go out during the week, but on the weekends i would party my a$$ off.

and stop worrying about "chicks" so bad. you sound like you have alot of other problems you should deal with BEFORE you can get girls. and i don't know what major you are in, but if you are in a geeky major (as I was), you can still get a hotty. I'm a computer geek and I got me a hottie, you can too 😛

the counselor should have given you some positve coping strategies. give it a shot.

OH - some medications work better than others depending on the individual.

hey, dont worry I have been seeing a shrink, I stopped because things were getting too busy with school and all and it was hard to schedule appointments with her.
Yeah, I definately gotta get going on homework, and finish that stuff up sooner in the day.

Congrats on the lady you have there, she is cute.

Oh, and I'm a psychology major, business minor.

dude you should be around MANY MANY hot chicks in business. i had a business class and thats where all the hotties were. just walk up to em and talk to em. one phrase that i heard and like is as follows ...

"The only regrets you have in life are the risks you didn't take"

so risk getting turned down by a girl instead of talking about how you wanted to but didnt. its better to get turned down 5 times and get lucky w/1 girl than it is to not even attempt at all.
