I had given up on driving games after N4S Porshche could not find any that felt right, and Im not a hardcore sim driver.

But this game feel just right, Im using a Wingman rumble pad with analog joy sticks and its so much fun.

What do you guys think?

I have always been interested, but have yet to buy it. One reason I have hesitated is because of mixed user reviews.

What kind of system are you running it on and how is performance?

If it's half as good as NFS3 was, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I have it for Xbox and love it as well. I think the PC version is basically identical, but with higher-res graphics. The physics engine is a great arcade sim, and the graphics and sound are amazing. It is VERY tough at the normal difficulty setting, though - this is the only game I can recall playing in years at easy difficulty.

So, you'd say its's worth the $20 or $30 for it, then?

Edit: Here's my system

Epox 8RDA Nforce 2 board
2000+ XP (not O/C'ed....1.67ghz)
GF4 Ti4200 128mb
512mb PC3200

It be great if I could run at 1024x768 (or better), but some reviews that I have read state the performance is sub par even on higher end system.

I have RalliSport Challenge on PC.
Im not a huge fan of racing/rally games, FPS is more my style, but this game is the first racing/rally game that i really like since International Rally Championship for the 486.
Beautiful Graphics. Ive seen a PC version and a X-Box version side by side, the PCs are far better, sharper looking, more detailed textures, everything is better.
Great Sound. Good sounding cars, great soundtrack as well.

I have a P4 1.6a @ 2400mhz and a GF4 4200 and I run it a 1280x1024 and its sweet and smooth

BTW I have all vid settings maxed.

I got it at frys for $29

Does it studder on your system at times? Nothing that really prevents gameplay, but it's noticeable on my system when running at 1024x768. I picked it up at Staples today for $29. 🙂

I have it on PC and really like it, I just wish it had multiplayer..but all the cool tracks do help make up for it. I have the xbox version for sale if anyone is interested..it's brand new and never been opened.

No studder but I do have my 4200 WAY overclocked.

I just wish it had multiplayer

It does have multiplayer.

It's great! I wasn't too impressed after playing the demo, but once I had the full version I love it. Even at Medium graphic settings, Rallisport Challenge is the sweetest looking game yet and the sound is awesome. The only beef against it would be it's lack of an Internet Multiplayer game browser, a really stupid ommission IMO.

Get it!

The graphics are the best of the game.
I´m absolutely sure that the phisics model of CMR2 is far better...
I get bored, because it´s not enough difficult. You just have to brake before every turn and it will be OK.
I´m a racing games fan, it´s the best genre in PC, but for Rallisport, I give it an 8.
I didn´t try it on Multiplayer... I have 56K and here in Argentina there aren´t much peolpe with enough rig to play it and with passion for racing games...

Are you playing on easy, med, hard??

Nohr thanks for the RSCspy

just did some multiplayer racing lots of fun, I will hoast on Friday night if you want to race pm me and i will give out my IP

Oops, I said the wrong thing..I meant I wish it had better multiplayer support, because it's hard to find servers..Renob and I just played for about 20 minutes and had a lot of fun.

I'm really looking forward to playing some more..it's really cool online..I wish there was like a gamespy integrated in it..
If anyone wants to play, PM me! I can't host a server, so you'll have to..no 56k please(sorry🙁)

deam, those are some nice screens :Q, doesnt run all that great on my system, but i have it for XBOX and its a great game...

Well, I had to do some tweaking, but it runs perfect on my system now at 1024x768. Even on the lowest settings, the game looks great.

Without a doubt, this game makes you really feel like you are going 130mph. It's freakin awesome to see how fast everything is moving when you are pegged out on a straight stretch of gravel. 🙂

I still wish I could get NFS3:HP running without going back to Win98. 🙁

I cant get my steering wheel to work in Intsant action wtf is up with that. It works for Rally but not that. 🙁

As of right now I think the game sucks, the cars are very hard to drive compared to the other racing games I have. Maybe with practise it will be more fun if I dont delete the game. The cars go all over the road in this game and seem very hard to drive straight and yes I have tried different steering options.

Sounds like something is wrong, the cars are very easy to drive and Im not a big driving game person.

BTW Im going to be hoasting a game to night so PM me if you want to race.😀

Dont know what could be wrong since I have tried different sensitivity on the steering etc etc. Also I have tried different tires and setting the dead zone, the intermediate seem to work the best on the tracks I have tried so far.
