You must be new to MMORPGs.
There is no such thing as:
"You must be at level x with x gold at day 5"
"You must be at level x with x gold at day 10"
"You must be at level x with x gold at day 15"

You play at your own pace. You do things on your own time and accomplish and increase at other levels apart from everyone else. Just enjoy the game-play and time with the people you meet there. I haven't even played WoW, but this applies to all online gaming. Just enjoy the experience and don't be such a power gamer, i hate those....

danny~!

I'm similar with my paladin. However, if you are not a paladin or warlock you should start saving money when possible to pay for your mount, which will be 90g at least (100g if you don't buy it in a nation where you are "honored"). My other character, a few levels above, has 25g and I still feel that it is not enough.

I checked last night, and I am at 8 days 12 hours played. I got the game when it first came out, 5 weeks ago. Oh, and I was out of the country for 7 days with no internet access during those 5 weeks.

My name is benchiu, and I'm a WoWaholic.

The worse thing you could do to kill the fun is try to keep up with someone or something. Just play and have fun, the journey is more important than the destination. The high end is always less fun in these type games.

BTW I'm level 8 in WoW, but I've been high level in raiding guilds in EQ, it's not any more fun and is just more pressure.

I'm 27 and have about twice that much gold, but neither of us is likely to have a mount at 40, at this rate - I think we've got to start doing some tradeskilling. Are you buying each and ever skill/spell when you level? I haven't bothered with the ones I won't use, it has saved me some serious coin. I figure when I'm 60 and money's easier to come by I'll go back and get them.

no I've been pretty frugal the same way as you, only buying skills that are usefull. Not sure why my gold is so low :) My leatherworking is still working to expert.. But I could train in artisan skinning now, but it costs 5 gold!! I want to know if the artisan skinning will be able to pay for itself and than some through selling stuff at the auction house...
