Wow, people hanging by hooks through their flesh isn't just in the movies

Watching Dave Attell's Insomniac and the just visited a piercing store. At the end, they put huge hooks through a mans chest and back and lifted him off the ground. WOW, just WOW. Trying to find more on the internet. They mentioned it as induction I believe.

I saw it on Ripley's Believe It or Not once. This guy had piercings along his back, the back of his thighs, and through his calves. They pushed hooks through the piercings and lifted him off the ground. Then they released each hook until he was just hanging by one in the middle of his upper back. It pained me to watch it, kinda like when you see a guy get kicked in the nuts.

Yeah that stuff is crazy. I'm suprised the hook just doesn't come right out or rip the skin and come right out.

I've done it and you catch plenty of skin with each and use enough hooks that if you figure it out it adds up that it doesn't tear. Haven't done it is awhile though, I have put on too much wieght. I am 6'2" and only at 180 but that is too much for even 8 hooks, which is typically the limit.

At a Lollapaloza Show they had a guy named Mr. Lifto that hung himself up on hooks with the rings in his nipples. He also lifed 50lbs of cinder blocks from the Prince Albert in his Johnson. BTW when he did the last stunt all the men in the audience groaned and the woman squeeled in glee
